Training and talks

We are running a range of  suicide prevention training across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire

ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

ASIST is a comprehensive two day course which enables you  to become more willing, ready and able to help people who are at risk of suicide. Developed by LivingWorks in Canada and delivered world-wide, it is an interactive and practical course proven to help caregivers learn how to identify risk and intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.

Feedback from recent ASIST courses…

“This course was extremely good and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. It was emotional at times but so very thorough. The trainers were excellent – knowledgeable and encouraging.”

“Excellent training and thought-provoking – feel much more confident in dealing with a person considering suicide.”
